About Lumen Christi Television

Lumen Christi TV (LC TV) is a creation of the National Laity Council and the Department of Social Communications (DEPSOCOM) of the Catholic Church in Ghana, under the auspices of the Ghana Catholic Bishops' Conference (GCBC).

LC TV is offering the Catholic Faithful and its General Viewership as well as its Non-Catholic audience besides a sincere presentation of the Church’s sound Christ-based teachings to help strengthen evangelisation, other innovative exciting and fascinating programs content to inform, entertain and educate.

St. Clare of Assisi

St. Clare of Assisi was born in Assisi on July 16, 1194, as Chiara Offreduccio, the beautiful eldest daughter of Favorino Sciffi, Count of Sasso-Rosso and his wife Ortolana.

Tradition says her father was a wealthy representative of an ancient Roman family and her mother was a very devout woman belonging to the noble family of Fiumi.
